1. Use a 2 quart slow cooker for preparing Slow Cooker Dips in your Crock Pot.
2. 4 quart slow cookers will work best if you are preparing fall crockpot meals for two or making hot drinks.
3. For most family sized fall crockpot recipes, you will want a 5.5 – 6 quart slow cooker.

I an cooking the chicken for the crockpot orange chicken and I have heard it will dry out. In your recipe it doesn’t say to put any liquid and I’m worried it will dry out. I want it to turn out prefect. Any advice?
Hi Jessica ~ the chicken will end up cooking in its own juices that it releases, so no other liquid is required. All crock pots cook slightly differently, so just keep an eye on it and if you notice it getting done earlier, you can drain the juices and add the sauce mixture at that point. ENJOY!! 🙂
I have that issue with anything that I cook in my crock pot. I’ve found that adding a cup of chicken broth helps with it.
