Here’s what you’ll need to get one of your new favorite Fall Crockpot Recipes started…

What is Chicken Cordon Bleu?

Traditional le cordon bleu chicken is basically a piece of meat that wraps around cheese, and is then breaded.

However, with this simple crockpot chicken cordon bleu with stuffing version, you’ll substitute stuffing mix for the breading, and still get that amazing flavor!

Ingredients including cream of chicken soup, stuffing mix, and Swiss cheese.

Ingredients

For my easy to make version of slow cooker chicken cordon bleu, I kept the chicken cordon bleu ingredients simple and easy to find.

Here’s what you need to add to your grocery shopping list to get slow cooking…

  • Boneless Skinless Chicken – Fresh or thawed if previously frozen.
  • Stove Top Chicken Stuffing Mix – Turkey or ‘Savory Herbs’ flavors can be substituted.
  • Cream of Chicken Soup with Herbs – Regular Cream of Chicken Soup can be substituted.
  • Butter – The higher quality the butter, the better the flavor!
  • Milk
  • Sliced Canadian Bacon (ham)
  • Swiss Cheese Slices – Use a high quality cheese in chicken cordon bleu for the best flavor.

Like so many of my easy Slow Cooker Dump Dinners, you’ll also need a 5 – 6 quart Crock Pot to get the job done.

That’s it. You’ll just need 7 simple ingredients to make this easy chicken cordon bleu crockpot recipe!
