Witney says
can you use bone in and if you can is cooking time the same?
Diane says
Hi! I’m getting ready to make these, so I hope you see this and respond lol. I’m doubling the recipe (big family)….does that change the cook time?
Heidi says
Hi Diane ~ yes… doubling it would definitely change the cook time. However, the pork chops will definitely cook best if they’re not stacked. I would recommend cooking in a larger oval crockpot {like an 8 quart} or two separate smaller oval crockpots {4 – 5 quarts each}. Hope that helps! 🙂
Breanna says
Do you mix the juices you drained from the pork after the 3.5 hours with the BBQ sauce and ranch or do you just drain it and get rid of it I couldn’t tell by the recipe thanks a bunch.
Heidi says
Hi Breanna ~ you will drain and discard the juices that the pork cooked in. That way you’ll have a nice thick sauce for your pork chops that isn’t watered down. 🙂
Breanna says
Thanks a bunch can’t wait for supper tonight they look so good.
Heather says
Hello, can I cook these on high for part of the time if I don’t have a full four hours for low?
Heidi says
Hi Heather,
When it comes to pork, cooking it low and slow is best. If you cook it on high heat, you will end up with tough pork chops.
Hope this helps ~ Heidi
Jan Steinhorn says
