Did somebody say Crock Pot Peppermint Mocha Recipe?
Why yes… yes please! It’s that time of year again, and I’m SO excited about that fact! Bring on the Peppermint… and Candy Canes… and Christmas Crock Pot coffee bliss!
Just like the song says, it truly is the most wonderful time of the year! I absolutely love Christmas, and every year can hardly wait for all of the fun family traditions this season brings.
Some of our favorite activities around Christmas are driving around to look at Christmas lights, decorating cookies, decking the house out {inside and out} with Christmas decor, pulling out the board games, and indulging in those Starbucks Peppermint Mochas! Following are some of my favorite photos of our family Christmas traditions and ways we like to Make It Merrier… Every year we give the boys a new ornament, and write the year on the bottom of it. So… when they’re all grown up they’ll have a fun ornament collection of their own!

Now I’ve got a little secret to tell you… I’m in love with coffee, and wildly in love with Peppermint Mochas. Oh it’s true! It all started when I was in high school, and I admitted to a friend of mine that I had never had coffee before. What?!? She was dumbfounded and after school that day we hopped in her car. She said she had somewhere important she wanted to take me. In no time I found myself holding what was called a Peppermint Mocha.
It was a cold winter day… and this moment changed my life. 🙂 Honestly, I didn’t want to try it… I assumed coffee didn’t taste good. That’s what I had been told all my life. I grew up in a non-coffee drinking family. {I can’t even fathom the concept anymore!} But it was a gift, and of course I didn’t want to be rude, so there I went… It was love at first sip, and it catapulted me into my now long-life-love {and yes maybe a little addiction} to coffee. I even spent a summer in college working for the Starbucks headquarters in Seattle! {now that was a delicious time in my life!}

Hello! Thank you for these awesome recipes! Quick question for you. For the peppermint mocha, you said to get Starbucks Peppermint Syrup. I’ve never seen them sold anywhere. Where can I find it? Thank you again!

Hi Rose ~ I’m so glad you’re enjoying the recipes! You can purchase the Starbucks Syrups at your local Starbucks store. Or, you could use Torani Peppermint Syrup instead. That can be found at World Market, or on Amazon here: http://amzn.to/2cIWmGE
Hope that helps! 😉
