You’ll just need a few simple ingredients to make the BEST Crockpot Sloppy Joes!

Add the following to your next grocery list to make sure you’ve got everything on hand…

  • Ground Beef – Ground Turkey can be substituted
  • Manwich Sloppy Joe Sauce
  • White Onion – chopped
  • Garlic Salt
  • Hamburger Buns – These Homemade Buns will take your Sloppy Joes to the next level!

You’ll also need a 5 – 6 quart Crock Pot to get the job done.

That’s it. You’ll need just 5 ingredients to create this crowd pleasing dinner!

How to Make Crock Pot Sloppy Joes

You won’t believe how EASY it is to make rich and delicious Sloppy Joe Sandwiches!

Here’s what you’ll do…

1. Prepare your meat and onions in a large sauce pan as instructed..

2. Then transfer your beef/onion mixture to your Crock Pot.

3. Pour your sauce over your beef/onion mixture, and stir well to combine.

4. Then cover your Crock pot and cook until done.

5. Once done, pile it up high on Hamburger Buns or Slider Rolls and ENJOY!

Can You Freeze Sloppy Joes?

Yes, you sure can!  Freezing your Sloppy Joe Meat for later, is the perfect way to Meal Prep for those busy weeknights!

They freeze great up to 3 months!

After you finish cooking your Sloppy Joe Meat in your Crockpot, allow it to cool a bit before transferring to Freezer Storage Bags.

Then lay flat in your freezer so they stack easily, and you’ve got a delicious dinner ready to go when you’re short on time!

When you’re ready to enjoy your Sloppy Joes, just pull the meat from the freezer, and place bag on a plate in the refrigerator to thaw for about 24 hours.

After the meat has thawed, you can reheat on the stove or in your slow cooker.  How EASY is that?

These Crock Pot Sloppy Joes serve up all the flavor of the classic we love, and is such a cinch to make! Just 5 ingredients, and you've got a savory homemade Sloppy Joe sandwich the whole family will LOVE!

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Cook Time: 2 hours 30 minutes
Total Time: 2 hours 45 minutes

Ingredients 

  • 1 lb Ground Beef, (Ground Turkey can be substituted)
  • 15 oz Hunt's MANWICH Sloppy Joe Sauce, (1 can)
  • 3/4 cup White Onion, (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Salt
  • 4 Hamburger Buns, (or 10 Slider Buns or Hawaiian Rolls)

Instructions 

  • Add Beef, Chopped Onions, and Garlic Salt to large saucepan.
  • Brown Meat / Sauté Onion over medium-high heat on the stove.
  • After meat has browned, drain and discard excess fat, then transfer mixture to Crockpot.
  • Pour Manwich over beef/onion mixture in crockpot, stir, then place lid on crockpot.
  • Cook on HIGH for 2.5 hours, or LOW for 5 hours.
  • Serve on Burger Buns, Slider Buns, or Hawaiian Rolls and ENJOY!!
  • Prep Ahead Tip: Cooked Sloppy Joe Meat can be frozen up to 3 months in a freezer storage bag.

    I can’t even tell you the last time we had sloppy joes but now you have us craving one. Using the crockpot is a great way to multi-task and still have a hot meal on the table. Might have to double up on the recipe and even freeze a couple batches for when we are really short on time.
