It takes just a few simple ingredients to make the BEST Crock Pot Cranberry Apple Dump Cake!

Check your cupboards or pantry, or add the following to your next grocery list, so you’ve got everything on hand…

  • Butter Recipe Yellow Cake Mix – Yellow Cake Mix can be substituted.
  • Apple Pie Filling – Homemade Apple Pie Filling can be substituted.
  • Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce
  • Butter – I like to use Salted Butter, but Unsalted will work just fine, too.

You’ll also need a 5 – 6 quart Crock Pot to get the job done.

Trust me… making this easy 4 ingredient dessert is going to be so easy!

How to Make Cranberry Apple Dump Cake in your Crockpot

Making this cranberry apple dump cake in your slow cooker is such a cinch!

Here’s what you’ll do…

1. Spray your Crockpot with a non-stick cooking spray.

2. In a medium bowl, mix together your apple pie filling and cranberries.

3. Then pour the mixture into the Crockpot.

4. Combine the dry cake mix with melted butter to create crumble topping.

5. Then sprinkle the crumble topping evenly over the cranberry and apple mixture in your Crockpot.

6. Cook, and you’re done!  So EASY!

Ingredients 

  • 13.25 oz. Betty Crocker Butter Yellow Cake Mix box
  • 4 oz. Butter, melted, (110 grams or 1 stick)
  • 14 oz. Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce, (1 can)
  • 21 oz. Apple Pie Filling, (use one 21 oz. can, OR use homemade Apple Pie Filling)

Instructions 

  • Spray inside of Crockpot with non-stick cooking spray
  • In medium mixing bowl, stir together Apple Pie Filling and Cranberry Sauce, pour contents into bottom of crockpot, and spread out evenly.
  • In medium mixing bowl, combine dry Cake Mix and melted Butter, and stir until crumbly. (Break up any large chunks into small crumbles with spoon.)
  • Pour cake/butter crumble mixture over cranberry/apple mixture in crockpot, spread out evenly, and cover crockpot with lid.
  • Cook on HIGH for 2 hours, or LOW for 4 hours. Serve with Ice Cream or Whip Cream. ENJOY!!
