I use a food saver to seal my chicken into meal size packages with some leftovers for lunch the next day…4 drumsticks, 4 thighs and 2 boneless breasts. Is this too much chicken to use for this recipe? I am new to using a crock pot, I was given a 6qt pot as a gift.

I am going to try this using a sirloin boneless pork roast since its the only thing I have right now. This looks yummy. I’m going to leave the Swiss cheese off. And I seasoned my pork with roasted garlic herb seasoning. I’ll let you know how it turns out.

This looks delicious. A couple of questions I’m not a fan (nor is my family) of cream of mushroom soup. Has anyone used cream of chicken soup or maybe even Campbell’s broccoli cheese soup?? Sounds like it could be good!! Also has anyone tried any different cheese?? Going to be laid up after my 3rd surgery in 10 months and always looking for something quick that is still a “home cooked” meal. Let me know. Thanks

I am looking for recipes to make in the crock pot now that summer is approaching so I don’t heat up my kitchen, and I found you today, so I am excited to try these new recipes. I am a stay at home Mom/farm wife, so quick easy recipes make my day at lot easier to get a hot meal on the table. My kids ask me why a stay a home mom is never at home????ha. That’s a very good question. It seems I just “turn my hat” and I’m on the road again running after my kids and helping my husband, but I love to be there for them and wouldn’t want it to be any other way, even though we love at “neck breaking” speeds some days:)
