Here’s what you’ll need…

  • Chicken Wings – Fresh or thawed.
  • Sweet Chili Sauce – In addition to using the name brand sauce specified in this recipe, I also recommend the sauce that I used with this Chicken with Sweet Chili Sauce recipe.
  • Pineapple – Gives your wings a sweet, tropical flair.

How To Make Thai Sweet Chili Wings

Like all of my 3 Ingredient Slow Cooker Recipes, preparing this spicy and sweet chili wings recipe in your slow cooker is unbelievably easy.

Here’s what you’ll do…

1. Pour the pineapple juice from your canned crushed pineapple into your Crock Pot, then add your chicken wings

2. Cook per the instructions in the recipe card below.

2. Then mix up your crushed pineapple and sweet chili sauce.

3. When your Thai chili wings are done, drain juices from slow cooker, then pour the sauce mixture over the wings.

4. Continue cooking for 30 minutes, then serve.

Thai Sweet Chili Wings

Ingredients 

  • 2 1/2 pounds Chicken Wings, fresh or thawed
  • 12 ounces Frank’s RedHot Sweet Chili Sauce, (1 bottle)
  • 8 ounces Dole Crushed Pineapple, (1 small can)

Instructions 

  • Gather your ingredients.
    Crushed pineapple and sweet chili sauce.
  • Drain crushed pineapple… and pour pineapple juice from can into Crockpot.
  • Place Chicken Wings in 5 – 6 quart Crockpot.
  • Cover with lid and cook on High for 2.5 hours.
  • After 2.5 hours, remove juices from crockpot.
  • In small mixing bowl, combine drained Crushed Pineapple and entire bottle Sweet Chili Sauce, and stir well.
  • Pour mixture over chicken. For crispier wings, retain 3/4 cup of sauce mixture and set aside for later. (see broiling instructions below)

  • Cover Crockpot, and cook for 30 minutes more, or until done. ENJOY!!

  • For crispier wings, place cooked wings on foil lined cookie sheet and drizzle with 1/4 cup of the remaining sauce and place under Broiler for 5 minutes, then flip wings and drizzle with another 1/4 cup of sauce and place under broiler for an additional 5 minutes, then flip once more, drizzle with remaining 1/4 cup of sauce, and place under broiler for 5 more minutes. ENJOY!

    These look great! To repeat the question that wasn’t answered–with all your wing recipes, can they be proportionally doubled or tripled? Do you know if it requires increasing the cooking time?

      Hi Lisa ~ absolutely… I love using boneless skinless chicken breasts in this recipe as well. It’s a family favorite served over rice. 🙂 If using 4 large chicken breasts, you may just need to extend the cook time 30 minutes or so. ENJOY!
