How full is the crockpot, can I do one or two months more packages of kielbasa?
Heidi says
Hi Tyson ~ if using a 5 – 6 quart crockpot, there should be plenty of space to at least double the recipe. 🙂
Kara Z says
My family loves this over white rice with broccoli as a meal! Thanks so much!
Heidi says
That sounds delicious, Kara… what a great idea!
Mike T says
Is it good with just the BBQ, no ranch? Not a huge ranch fan
Heidi says
Hi Mike ~ yes… it tastes delicious with just the BBQ as well. You could skip adding the ranch if you’re not a fan. Or another option is to add in some Coca-Cola to the barbecue sauce, like this recipe here:

Hope that helps! 🙂
Kelly says
Do you think you could substitute the kielbasa with the lil smokies for this recipe?
Heidi says
Yes… absolutely! That would be delicious!!
Kim says
This was delicious! I was in a hurry when buying the ingredients and the store I went to didn’t have Kielbasa so I used Bratwurst. The casing it was in was pretty tough so I opted to remove the casing which was surprisingly easy. Once I removed the casing I cut them up and browned them before putting them in the crockpot. It was absolutely delicious and was a big hit! Thank you for sharing this recipe!
Heidi says
You’re very welcome, Kim! I’m so glad to hear it was delicious using Bratwurst, too!
MLR says

Making this for Friday night card night . Looks so easy and yummy , I’m tweaking it a little , by adding some pineapple chunks I had in the pantry , and some green bell peppers out my garden that needed to be used up ( way to many , will plant less next time , lol . )
Heidi says
Those sound like delicious additions, Christy! Have fun tonight! 😉
