How many hours high with tenderloins? New cook lol
Heidi says
Hi Taylor ~ it just depends on the number of tenderloins and the size of the pieces. They’ll cook faster than the chicken breasts, so you can easily reduce the cook time, but you’ll just need to keep an eye on them to see when they’re done. When they look like they’re getting done, you can check by cutting into the thickest part of the tenderloin and making sure there’s no pink showing, then you can drain the juices and add the sauce. Hope that helps!
Pamela says
Can you use chicken thighs instead of chicken breast?
Heidi says
Hi Pamela… yes, you can! Just keep an eye on the cook times… depending on the size of the thighs, they may cook a little quicker. Hope that helps!
Heather says
I didnt read it right and I almost started putting the soup mixture in right away. Will the chicken have very much flavor if cooked in nothing and then the mixture only added the last 30 minutes? I’m just curious.
Heidi says
Hi Heather… yes ~ it will actually have way more flavor. By draining the juices the chicken releases and then adding the sauce near the end, you’ll end up with a thicker more delicious sauce that hasn’t been watered down. 🙂
Cyndee Windle says
For the creamy Italian chicken – you say to cook chicken in crockpot for 3 or 6 hrs. How much liquid and what liquid do you put on the chicken to cook – you can’t cook without some kind of liquid.
Heidi says
Hi Cyndee ~ no liquid is required when cooking the chicken, as the chicken will cook in its own juices that it releases. Hope that helps! 🙂
