Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 oz. Hidden Valley Ranch Mix, 1 packet or 3 Tbsp Buttermilk Ranch Dressing Mix
  • ½ cup crushed regular Fritos Corn Chips
  • 1 Egg, lightly beaten
  • 8 Hamburger Buns (Potato Buns are really yummy with this!)
  • 8 slices of Cheese (I like Tillamook Cheddar)

Instructions

  • Mix your egg, ranch mix and Fritos in a large bowl.
  • Add your lean ground beef to bowl and mix with your fingers.
  • Form mixture into 8 balls, smashing into patties with fingers or a hamburger press.
  • Carefully stack burgers with Wax Paper separating patties, and place burgers in fridge to marinate for a few hours or overnight.
  • Grill your burgers for 4 - 5 minutes on each side at 350 – 400 degrees, or until done.
  • Melt cheese onto burgers.
  • To grill or to not grill your buns?? Your Choice!! I love to add some butter to the inside of the buns, and grill them just until a little toasty.
  • Build your burgers… bun, burger, optional grilled onions, lettuce and tomato, and ENJOY!!
