Stuffed Turkey Sandwich Recipe

Thanksgiving is such a wonderful time of year to reflect on our blessings, and everything that we’re thankful for!

I love the special food that makes an appearance… the turkey, the cranberry sauce, and yes… the stuffing! But why wait until Thanksgiving to enjoy a turkey dinner? Or better yet, how about a Stuffed Turkey Sandwich?!?

This is also a great recipe to use after Thanksgiving to put those leftovers to use!

A big thanks goes to reader Andrea for providing the inspiration behind this recipe. Here’s what I came up with…

Stuffed Turkey Sandwich

The Ingredients:
{The total cost of this recipe was just $7.22, and the recipe yielded four sandwiches}.

  • Sliced Bread {shop your bread outlet for the best deal!}: 99c
  • Whipped Cream Cheese:$1.50
  • 1 can Jellied Cranberry: 99c
  • 1 box Stove Top Stuffing {I love the Whole Wheat Chicken flavor!}: $1.49
  • Romaine lettuce leaves: 25c
  • Turkey lunchmeat: $2.00 {or better yet… leftovers after the holidays!!}

The Recipe:

  • Prepare stuffing on stove top or in microwave per package directions.
  • Spread cream cheese on bread, then add a layer of prepared stuffing.
  • Top with sliced jellied cranberry, turkey, and lettuce.
  • There you have it… a delicious Thanksgiving dinner in a sandwich! ENJOY!!

This definitely wins the award for tastiest sandwich ever! It honestly tastes like Thanksgiving dinner in a sandwich… scrumptious and delicious! Give it a try, and see what you think!

These are delish! Ive been buying something called The Bobbie from a local sandwich shop for years (all year round!) just like this…though this version is much cheaper, super tasty!
