You see, my obsession with Dr. Pepper started back in high school, and let me tell you… it was love at first sip.
It comes close to Coke, but I’ve got to say it still tops my charts.
What can I say… my love for Dr. Pepper runs strong!
And who are we kidding… this frozen Dr. Pepper slush is just what the doctor ordered!
So are you ready to meet your new favorite drink? Once you see how easy this is to make, you’ll want this homemade Dr. Pepper Slushie on repeat!
You’ll just need a few things to make your own Copycat Dr. Pepper Slurpees at home!
Dr. Pepper – chilled in refrigerator
Frozen Dr. Pepper – frozen in an ice cube tray

How Long Do You Put Soda in the Freezer?
When it comes to freezing your Dr. Pepper, you’ll need to freeze your Dr. Pepper ice cubes for a minimum of 4 hours.
To make sure mine are all the way frozen, I usually just pop them in the freezer the day before I make my slushies.
How to Make a Dr. Pepper Slush
You won’t believe how easy it is to make your own slushies at home!
Here’s what you’ll do…
You’ll start by freezing half of the Dr. Pepper in an ice cube tray.
Just make sure to wait until it’s completely frozen before making your slushie.
Chill the remaining half of Dr. Pepper in your fridge.
Once the Dr. Pepper cubes have frozen, blend your frozen Dr. Pepper, chilled Dr. Pepper and ice cubes together until it turns into a slushie consistency.
That’s it!
Now all that’s left to do is sit back, relax, and enjoy every last sip!

Ingredients
3cupsof Dr. Pepper (or two 12 oz. bottles or cans)
8large Ice Cubes
Instructions
Pour 1.5 cups (or one 12 oz. can) of Dr. Pepper into a shallow freezer-friendly dish or Ice Cube Tray and place in the freezer for a minimum of 4 hours – must be completely frozen.
Place remainder of Dr. Pepper in refrigerator to chill.
Once Dr. Pepper in the dish or ice cube tray has frozen, scoop out and transfer to a blender.
Then pour in 1.5 cups (or one 12 oz. can) of chilled Dr. Pepper from the refrigerator to blender + add 8 ice cubes.
Blend until well combined, and transfer to Cute Mason Jars, then serve with a spoon or straw! ENJOY!
