You’ll just need 4 simple ingredients to make the BEST Blackberry Cobbler with Cake Mix!
Check your cupboards, raid your pantry, or add the following to your next grocery list…
- Vanilla Cake Mix
- Blackberry Pie Filling
- Whipped Cream Cheese
- Butter
You’ll also need a 9×13 baking dish to get the job done.
As far as the cake mix goes, you can use French Vanilla or Vanilla… both work great.
The blackberry pie filling can either be homemade or store bought… the choice is yours.
Oh, and don’t forget to have some whip cream and vanilla ice cream on hand for topping. That will take your blackberry cobbler to the next level!

How to Make Blackberry Cream Cheese Cobbler
It’s actually SO easy to make a Blackberry Cobbler with Cream Cheese and Cake Mix.
Here’s what you’ll do…
1. Spray inside of your baking dish with non-stick cooking spray
2. Evenly spread out blackberry pie filling in the bottom of the baking dish.
3. Add dollops of cream cheese evenly over your blueberry pie filling.
4. Combine cake mix with butter to make a buttery crumble topping, and sprinkle over the blackberry pie filling and cream cheese dollops.
5. Bake as directed, and ENJOY!

Blackberry Cream Cheese Cobbler Recipe
Ingredients
- 13.25 oz Betty Crocker French Vanilla Cake Mix box
- 42 oz Cans Blackberry Pie Filling (use 2 cans, 21 oz. each, OR use homemade Blackberry Pie filling)
- 8 oz Whipped Cream Cheese
- 8 tbsp. Butter, Melted (1/2 cup)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Spray inside of glass or ceramic 9×13 Casserole Dish with non-stick cooking spray
- Empty cans of Blackberry Pie Filling into bottom of baking dish, and spread out evenly.
- Scoop dollops of Cream Cheese on top and spread out over BlackberryPie Filling.
- In medium mixing bowl, combine dry Cake Mix and melted Butter, and stir until crumbly. (Break up any large chunks into small crumbles with spoon.)
- Pour cake/butter crumble mixture over blackberry/cream cheese layer in baking dish, and spread out evenly.
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until sides are hot and bubbly.
- Top with Whip Cream or a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream. ENJOY!!
