Crockpot Blackberry Dump Cake Recipe

Craving a dreamy dessert with the simplicity of a Slow Cooker?  This Crockpot Blackberry Dump Cake Recipe is one of my FAVORITES!!

You see… growing up in Washington state, we grew lots and lots of blackberries in our backyard.  When I was sent out to pick them, I mostly just popped them straight in my mouth, and returned with pretty much empty containers.  Oops! 😉

My blackberry addiction still runs strong, and that’s why I’m always looking for an excuse to incorporate Blackberries into dessert!

Plus, with just 3 ingredients, this dessert is about as easy as them come.  Just dump it in the Crockpot and walk away!

So what are you waiting for?  It’s time to meet your new favorite dessert!  Here’s what you need to do…

Hi Tina ~ yes… you could use fresh blackberries to make up your own blackberry pie filling.

Can you make these without using the Crock-Pot? I would like to know if there is a way to just use the oven.

How can this recipe be cut in half, without wasting half a box of cake mix? There are just two of us in the house, and when we want to ‘splurge’, on a dessert, we don’t want to eat a whole cake. It looks very easy, but it would mold before we could or would eat up the complete dessert.

There are only two of us as well, so I put the remaining pudding in the freezer for another day then just reheat it in the microwave.
