Seriously… my hubby and boys devoured this delicious pasta dish!

Plus, it’s crazy easy to prepare.

All you’ll need is one pot and a few simple ingredients to make this easy One Pot Meal.  That means you’ll also only have one pot to clean after this pasta dinner is over!

And… you can make this tasty pasta dish in as little as 30 minutes!

Taco Spaghetti Ingredients

You’ll need just a few simple ingredients to make the BEST taco spaghetti ever!

Check your refrigerator and pantry… then add the following to your next grocery list to make sure you’ve got everything on hand.

  • Spaghetti
  • Ground Beef
  • Onion – you’ll want to use a White Onion
  • Cooking Oil – my favorite oil of choice is Avocado Oil
  • Chicken Broth
  • Diced Tomatoes
  • Tomato Paste
  • Diced Green Chiles
  • Taco Seasoning – or use this easy, homemade 6 Ingredient Taco Seasoning
  • Cumin
  • Garlic Salt
  • Shredded Cheese – a Mexican cheese blend tastes amazing in this dish!
  • *optional Chopped Cilantro or Green Onions for garnish

You’ll also need a 5 – 6 quart Dutch Oven to get the job done.

That’s it. It really is that simple.

How To Make Taco Spaghetti

You won’t believe how EASY it is to make rich and delicious one pot taco spaghetti!

Here’s what you’ll do…

1. Brown your beef and sauté your onion, then drain any excess juices.

2. Then add your remaining ingredients, excluding the spaghetti, and combine thoroughly.

3. Cook as directed.

4. Then, break your spaghetti noodles in half and add to your dutch oven.

5. Continue cooking as directed, until done.

6. Once done, serve it up and ENJOY a magnificent feast!

How To Serve Taco Spaghetti

To start, serve it up on plates or in bowls topped with shredded Mexican Cheese and fresh chopped Cilantro.

Storage Tip

Leftover taco spaghetti can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

When you’re ready to enjoy, simply transfer to a microwave safe dish, cover with paper towels, and reheat for 30 seconds at a time (stirring each time) until hot.

You can even add a little extra cheese on top for the last few seconds of microwaving. The more cheese the merrier, right?

Taco Spaghetti Recipe

Cook Time: 24 minutes
Total Time: 29 minutes

Ingredients 

  • 16 ounces Spaghetti Noodles, 1 pound
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 cup finely diced White Onion
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking Oil, (I like to use avocado oil)
  • 3 cups Chicken Broth
  • 14.5 ounces can Diced Tomatoes
  • 6 ounces can Tomato Paste, (3/4 cup)
  • 4 ounces can Diced Green Chiles
  • 2 packets Taco Seasoning, (two 1 ounce packets)
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Salt
  • 2 cups shredded Mexican Cheese
  • *optional 1/4 cup fresh chopped Cilantro for garnish

Instructions 

  • Preheat 5 - 6 quart dutch oven at Med/High heat.
  • Once it has heated up, add Cooking Oil, Ground Beef, and White Onion.
  • Cook Beef and Onion mixture until Beef is browned, about 5-6 minutes, then drain any excess juices.
  • Add Chicken Broth, Diced Tomatoes, Tomato Paste, Green Chiles, Taco Seasoning, Cumin, and Garlic Salt to the dutch oven, then stir well.
  • Cover dutch oven and allow mixture to cook until it comes to a soft boil (approx. 7 minutes)
  • Next, break Spaghetti Noodles in half, add to dutch oven, and stir well.
  • Cover dutch oven, reduce heat to Medium, and allow Taco Spaghetti to simmer for 12 - 18 more minutes (stirring often) until pasta is tender and cooked to your preferences.
  • Serve on plates or in bowls topped with shredded Mexican Cheese and fresh chopped Cilantro. Enjoy!
