- Ground Beef – Lean or not lean, the choice is yours.
- Onion – You’ll want to use a white onion.
- Cooking Oil – My favorite oil of choice is avocado oil.
- Chicken Broth – Used instead of water to add massive flavor to your noodles.
- Diced Tomatoes
- Tomato Paste
- Diced Green Chiles
- Taco Seasoning – Store bought or upgrade your flavors with my easy 6 ingredient Homemade Taco Seasoning.
- Cumin – Provides depth of flavor.
- Garlic Salt – Adds a savory touch, while enhancing flavors.
- Shredded Cheese – A Mexican cheese blend tastes amazing with this taco spaghetti recipe!

Taco Spaghetti Recipe

Ingredients
- 16 ounces Spaghetti Noodles, 1 pound
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 1 cup finely diced White Onion
- 2 tablespoons Cooking Oil, (I like to use avocado oil)
- 3 cups Chicken Broth
- 14.5 ounces can Diced Tomatoes
- 6 ounces can Tomato Paste, (3/4 cup)
- 4 ounces can Diced Green Chiles
- 2 packets Taco Seasoning, (two 1 ounce packets)
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Salt
- 2 cups shredded Mexican Cheese
- *optional 1/4 cup fresh chopped Cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Gather your ingredients.

- Preheat 5 – 6 quart dutch oven at Med/High heat.
- Once it has heated up, add Cooking Oil, Ground Beef, and White Onion.
- Cook Beef and Onion mixture until Beef is browned, about 5-6 minutes, then drain any excess juices.
- Add Chicken Broth, Diced Tomatoes, Tomato Paste, Green Chiles, Taco Seasoning, Cumin, and Garlic Salt to the dutch oven, then stir well.
- Cover dutch oven and allow mixture to cook until it comes to a soft boil (approx. 7 minutes)
- Next, break Spaghetti Noodles in half, add to dutch oven, and stir well.
- Cover dutch oven, reduce heat to Medium, and allow Taco Spaghetti to simmer for 12 – 18 more minutes (stirring often) until pasta is tender and cooked to your preferences.

- Serve on plates or in bowls topped with shredded Mexican Cheese and fresh chopped Cilantro. Enjoy!
