How to Keep Cilantro Fresh

Cilantro can wilt and go limp pretty quickly, so this trick will help you keep it fresh until you’re ready to make your rice.  It works like a charm!

Once you get your cilantro home from the grocery store, here’s what you’ll do…

Pop your bunch of cilantro into a glass or jar half filled with water.

Next, attach your produce bag (or other plastic bag) loosely over the top, and fasten the bag to the glass with a rubber band.

Store the cilantro in your fridge until ready to use, and make sure to change the water every day or at least every other day.

Peggy writes: “I love this tip! It works!  I kept a bunch of Cilantro fresh in the refrigerator for weeks.”

DW writes: “I used this tip… it works every time, thanks”

Janet writes: “I do this every time I get a bunch from the grocery store.  It will last up to 3 weeks”
