Aww… thank you so much for the sweet comment and review, Pat. I’m so glad to hear you’ve got this soup on repeat! 🙂
This is absolutely the best chicken noodle soup recipe.
I made my own stock for 2 hrs.with part of my chicken carcass
And i added 2 bouillon cubes, onion, celery, a little green pepper, green onions and used black pepper
I took the meat of the bones and i also shredded the onion and celery and waited them in butter and a little oil. Used fettuccine noodles .
So good!! Thanks
I’m so happy to hear you loved it, Renie! Homemade stock sounds like a delicious addition, and fettuccine noodles are a great swap!
Made your recipe on Saturday, 20Aug22. Terrific! Had to make a couple of changes only because I didn’t what was called for. Pasta, didn’t have linguine used fettuccine. No thyme, but had Italian seasoning. Don’t think these were major changes, but had to admit it. The pasta was done to my and the family’s liking in 16 minutes, so we got to enjoy soup 4 minutes earlier. Thanks and we can’t wait for the real soup weather.
I’m so glad to hear you loved the soup, Don. I love how you were creative with the ingredients you had on hand, too!
This chicken soup is soooo delicious! And simple! My family enjoyed this immensely.
