You’ll just need a few simple ingredients to make the BEST Orange Cranberry Chicken in your slow cooker!
- Chicken – you’ll want to use boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Catalina Dressing
- Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce – store bought or Homemade Cranberry Sauce
- Dry Onion Soup Mix
- Orange Marmalade
You’ll need a 5 – 6 quart crockpot to get the job done, too.
How to Make Orange Cranberry Chicken
- Cook your chicken in the crockpot per the instructions in the recipe card below.
- After 3 hours, drain the juices.
- In a small bowl, mix up your flavor-packed sauce.
- Then pour it evenly over the chicken in your crockpot.
- Cook for 30 more minutes, and ENJOY!

Orange Cranberry Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 lbs. Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts fresh or thawed
- 1 cup Catalina Salad Dressing (8 oz.)
- 14 oz. Ocean Spray Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce (1 can)
- 1 oz. Onion Soup Mix packet
- 1 tbsp Smucker’s Sweet Orange Marmalade
Instructions
- Place chicken in Crock Pot, and cook on HIGH for 3 hours or on LOW for 6 hours.
- After 3 hours on HIGH or 6 hours on LOW, drain juices from Crock Pot.
- In medium bowl, combine Catalina, Cranberry Sauce, Onion Soup Mix and Marmalade and stir thoroughly.
- Evenly pour mixture over Chicken Breasts and continue cooking on HIGH for 30 minutes (covered), or until done. Enjoy!

I want to make the Orange Cranberry chicken recipe but have a question regarding the onion soup mix packet. Recipe says 1 oz. Does that mean the whole envelope of onion soup mix? Don’t want it to be too overpowering.

Hi Nancy… that’s correct. The flavors blend really well together. You’ll use the entire packet of dry mix and stir it into the dressing, marmalade, and cranberries to make a delicious sauce. Or if you personally don’t care for onion flavor, you can always cut that amount back as well. 🙂
