How to Make Dill Dip with Fresh Dill

It’s actually SO easy to make a delicious homemade dill dip!

Here’s what you’ll do…

1. First you’ll need to slice your green onions and chop your fresh parsley and dill.

2. Then stir all of your ingredients together in a small mixing bowl, until well combined.

3. Cover your bowl and transfer to the refrigerator to allow the dip to chill.

Even though it’s so tempting to dig in right away, it’s essential to give the flavors time to meld and marinate together. I promise… the outrageously delicious flavor will be worth the wait.

4. So now we wait. Refrigerate your dip as specified in the recipe card below, before serving.

That’s it… you’re done!

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Mayonnaise
  • 3 tbsp. Fresh Dill, chopped, (3 tsp. of high quality Dried Dill can be substituted)
  • 2 tbsp. Green Onions, chopped
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. Fresh Italian Parsley, chopped, (1 1/4 tsp. of Dried Parsley can be substituted)
  • 1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 tsp. Salt
  • 1/4 tsp. Onion Powder

Instructions 

  • Stir all ingredients together in small mixing bowl, until well combined.
  • Cover bowl with plastic wrap and transfer dip to refrigerator.
  • VERY IMPORTANT: The dip will be ready to eat 24 hours after mixing it up. This time will allow the flavors to marinate and meld together for a perfectly tangy, flavorful dip.
  • Serve after waiting at least 24 hours with breads, veggies, or chips. ENJOY!
  • Prep Ahead / Storage Tip: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator, and use within 3 – 4 days.
