Ginger Soy Sauce Recipe

Elevate the flavor of your favorite Egg Rolls or Spring Rolls with this easy to make Ginger Soy Dipping Sauce!  This recipe can also be used as a fabulous Pot Sticker Sauce, or you can mix it in with your favorite noodles!  I mean honestly… even chicken, salmon, and stir fry will go to a whole new level when you serve them smothered with this flavor-packed sauce! 

This 5 Minute Quick Egg Roll Dipping Sauce recipe is perfect for when you’re craving a delicious Homemade Asian Sauce and you don’t have a lot of time.  Plus, this tasty dipping sauce recipe will save you so much money!  Making this sauce at home really is way less expensive than buying a bottle of sauce at the grocery store… and it tastes SO much better!

What I love most about this easy Asian Dipping Sauce recipe is how it makes your favorite Egg Rolls, Pot Stickers and Spring Rolls seem twice as addicting!  It’s true… the flavor is outrageous.  You’ll just have to try it to see what I’m talking about!

This Ginger Soy Sauce Recipe will make about 3/4 cups of dipping sauce, enough for about 8 regular sized egg rolls.

Ginger Soy Sauce Recipe

Use this Ginger Soy Sauce Recipe as a totally tempting Dipping Sauce for Egg Rolls, Spring Rolls and Won Tons!

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp Fresh Ginger, very finely diced
  • 1/4 cup Seasoned Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 3 tbsp Honey
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 2 cloves Garlic, crushed
  • 1/4 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes*
  • 1 1/2 tsp Cornstarch

Instructions

  • Thoroughly whisk all ingredients together in a small mixing bowl.
  • Transfer mixture to sauce pan and bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer mixture while stirring for 2-3 more minutes.
  • Serve your dipping sauce at room temperature with your choice of Egg Rolls, Spring Rolls or Pot Stickers.

Notes

*For a hotter sauce, add more pepper flakes.  To reduce heat, strain sauce before serving.
This sauce recipe will yield approximately 3/4 cup of sauce.  If you need more sauce, this recipe can easily be doubled.
