Head out to your garden or add the following to your next grocery list to create this easy pico at home…
- Roma Plum Tomatoes
- White Onion
- Cilantro – to keep cilantro fresh longer, store in a glass half filled with water, cover with a produce bag with a rubber band fastened around the glass, and store in fridge, changing water daily.
- Jalapeño Pepper – don’t forget to wear disposable gloves when chopping. 🙂
- Lime Juice
- Sea Salt

How to Make Pico de Gallo
Making your own fresh Pico de Gallo is actually SO easy!
Here’s what you’ll do…
1. Clean and chop your ingredients per the instructions in the recipe card below.
2. Squeeze your lime for fresh lime juice.
3. Then, combine your ingredients in a medium bowl, and stir well to combine.
4. Even though it’s hard not to dig in right away, you want to allow your pico to chill in the refrigerator to allow the flavors to meld and marinate together.
5. After chilling, your pico will be ready to… devour!!

Pico de Gallo
Ingredients
- 6 Roma Plum Tomatoes (diced)
- 2 cups White Onion (finely chopped)
- 1 cup Cilantro (chopped, or 1/2 cup Dried Cilantro)
- 1/2 Jalapeño Pepper (finely chopped)
- 1 tbsp Lime Juice (fresh squeezed)
- 1 Pinch Sea Salt
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and stir thoroughly.
- Cover and transfer to refrigerator, allowing salsa to marinate in fridge for 1 -2 hours before serving.
- Then devour and ENJOY!!
- Storage Tip: Store covered in the refrigerator up to 3 days.
