For best flavor, I like to use a wild caught pacific cod, grass fed butter and organic lemons for this grilled cod recipe.

How Do You Know If Your Cod Is Cooked?
For this grilled cod fish, you’ll know that your cod filets are cooked when the filets appear white in color, and the filets easily flake with a fork.
The internal temperature should also be between 130 to 135 degrees for grilled fish recipes like this cod. And if your cod is mushy or translucent in color… it’s likely undercooked! If it’s tough and chewy, it’s overcooked.
The key is to closely monitor your cod, because it’s very easy to overcook cod.
