Today we’ll skip the classic tuna sandwich and swap in some quick and easy canned salmon to change things up! And guess what… it’s beyond delicious!

This healthy salmon recipe is loaded with fresh, savory flavors that I have been perfecting for years.

Growing up near Seattle, salmon was a big deal. My dad would go fishing and bring home salmon, and we’d feast for days.

Now that I live in Arizona, I’ve swapped fresh salmon for sunshine. I love both, but to keep this recipe simple, I like to use wild caught Alaskan canned salmon.

It’s one of my family’s favorite go-to dinners, and is perfect for those busy weeknights.

Everyone loves it… and I love how easy it is to prepare!

Plus, it’s such a simple way to sneak more seafood into your day!

If you have leftovers, or want to prep ahead, this also makes a fantastic lunch!

So if you want to create the ultimate fish sandwich, you owe it to yourself to enjoy this canned salmon sandwich on fresh baked slices of Sourdough Bread. It really is an outrageously satisfying experience!

Then… take your salmon dinner to the next level when you also make this Grilled Garlic Salmon Recipe!

Now go ahead and do yourself a favor. Give this quick & easy Seafood Recipe a try this week!

I know you won’t be disappointed…

We used canned wild salmon for another recipe recently, and it turned out really well. What a great way to put a spin on the classic tuna fish sandwich! And I bet this tasted even better the next day once the flavors had a chance to meld together. Yum!

Allowing the flavors more time to marinate does make it even better!

Making salmon instead of tuna is brilliant – healthy omega-3 fatty acids! The addition of carrots gives it that little extra crunch and pop of color.
