If you’re on the hunt for an Easy Guacamole Dip Recipe, I’ve got the tastiest recipe to share with you!
This recipe comes straight from Holly’s new Trim & Terrific Cookbook!
Holly is as sweet as can be, and when chatting with her about recipes and The Frugal Girls site, she was so excited to hear I’d be including this recipe right here for you!
The *Best* Guacamole Dip Recipe
- 1 large avocado ~ peeled, pitted and mashed
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 2 tsp. minced onion
- 1/4 cup nonfat plain yogurt
Cover with yogurt to keep the mixture from darkening.
If you’re not ready to serve quite yet… refrigerate until serving.
Just before serving, stir well.
There you go ~ easy and delicious!! Now dig in… and enjoy!

At our house, this gets gobbled up so fast, so I often double the recipe.
It’s great served with tortilla chips, and we also love it as a topping on our burgers or tacos!
