Just follow the simple step-by-step instructions…

Drying Fresh Rosemary in Microwave Instructions
It takes just a few simple steps and literally a few seconds of your time to dry your fresh rosemary in the microwave.

1. Place 1 paper towel flat on your plate.
2. Lay out Rosemary in a single layer on the paper towel, then add another paper towel on top.

3. Microwave 45 seconds, then in 15 second increments.
Mine are usually dried out and ready after a total of 90 seconds or 1 minute + 45 seconds.

4. After dry, using thumb and forefinger, pinch stalk while slowly sliding fingers down the stem to remove pieces.
5. Then crumble and crush with fingers to your desired length.

Mini Mason Jars work great, or you could even use old spice containers you have on hand.

I do this as well. But remove the stalks before, slightly smash them with a knife to release oils and put in a salt container to add some aroma to salt. Then dry the rest.
That salt sounds delicious!
