Hi, First off I LOVE LOVE this Andes Fudge. I would like to know if I could make this a Key Lime Fudge, I was given 5 bag’s of M & M’s that flavor, Use white chips and use Key lime extract, do you think it would make the chips seize ? And top with M & M’s
Thanks Susie
Heidi says
Hi Susie… what a fun idea! I’m thinking it might work… I’ve added peppermint extract before and it worked just fine with the melted chips. I’ve also topped my Reese’s fudge with little candy pieces {a little smaller than M&M’s} and that turned out really cute, too…

If you give the key lime fudge a try, let me know hot it turns out… I’d love to hear!

I sure will, Thanks for the info

I’m going to have to try some of these! I make fudge the old fashion way and it takes forever, and a ton of ingredients!
Heidi says
The old fashioned fudge is amazing too, but I definitely love how quick & easy this version is. And the toppings are endless! Happy fudge making, Danielle! 🙂
Christie says
Only 3 ingredients and you get this delicious mint fudge! Wow! What a fantastic treat for the holidays! I truly appreciate how simple and easy to this is.
Heidi says
Aww… thanks, Christie! It really is one of the easiest desserts you’ll ever make, but it seems so fancy, too! 🙂
VooDew says
Too funny I actually just made some Dark and Milk Chocolate Mint Fudge yesterday morning! 1 and 1/4 cans of SCM slowly warmed on the stove, stir in 1 10oz bag of Dark Choc chips and 1 10oz bag of Andes Creme de Menthe baking chips until all smooth and melty then spread in a gently sprayed 8×8 foil pan and pop in the fridge until set. It’s sinfully delicious, kind of York Peppermint Patty without the weird white filling lol
Heidi says
That sounds delicious!!
Carol says
Love this recipe! It is so easy, but looks so elegant and tastes wonderful to put in a sweet spread for the holidays. I came back to this website because my 7 year old begged me to make some for him tonight! 🙂
Heidi says
Thank you, Carol! So glad you enjoyed the fudge… it’s definitely a family favorite here, too! 🙂
Davina says
Hi I just got done making these. I love dark chocolate, but as I’d been out 3x to the market in 2 days I decided to use semi-sweet. I hope later today they will be really tasty. Thank you for sharing.

Heidi says
Hi Brianna ~ yes… you can substitute Milk Chocolate Chips, however it will definitely change the flavor. 😉
