Peanut Butter Bars

Ingredients
- 2 cups Honey Maid Graham Crackers, finely crushed, (approx. 2 ‘sleeves’)
- 1¼ cup Creamy Peanut Butter, (like Jif or Skippy, not a natural peanut butter)
- 1 cup Salted Butter, melted (if using unsalted butter, you'll want to add 1/2 tsp. salt to the mixture)
- 2 cups Powdered Sugar
- 11.5 ounces Milk Chocolate Chips (1 bag), (use high quality chocolate chips, like Ghirardelli or Nestle, for the best flavor)
Instructions
- Gather your ingredients.

- Crush graham crackers into crumbs.
- Mix Graham Cracker Crumbs, Powdered Sugar, Melted Butter, and 1 cup of the Peanut Butter in mixing bowl.
- Press mixture into a 9×13 ungreased glass baking dish, and set aside.
- Place chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl with remaining ¼ cup of peanut butter, and microwave for 45 seconds, then stir. Microwave again for 30 seconds, then stir until melted. (You may need to microwave one more time for 30 seconds, then stir.)
- Spread melted chocolate mixture evenly over peanut butter mixture in baking dish.

- Refrigerate for at least 3 hours to allow the bars to firm up.

- When ready to enjoy, remove from refrigerator for 10 minutes, allowing the bars to just slightly warm up. Then cut into squares and devour!
- Storage Tip: Leftovers can be stored covered, in an airtight container in the refrigerator, for up to 5 days.

Yummy
They really are ridiculously delicious!
in Metric? 110 Gram – hope that is helpful
Hi I live in Australia and love cooking but I need to know what the weight of 1 stick of butter is please. I love the recipes on this site. Thanks !
Helen
A stick of butter is 4 oz. or 8 Tbs.or 1/2 cup or 24 tsp.
Fabulous! The only change I made was shortening the microwave time for the chocolate chip mix. My microwave is higher wattage. So – I did the initial 45 seconds, stirred, then 20 seconds, stirred, then 10 seconds. Perfect.
Thanks for sharing your tip!
