With just 3 simple ingredients, you’ve got a super tasty dinner loaded with fun aloha flavors!

Just don’t expect too many leftovers.  Why do you ask?  It’s simple.  This Slow Cooker Hawaiian Chicken made with pineapple and sweet chili sauce will be devoured right before your eyes!  What you’ve got here is an easy dinner recipe that requires hardly any ingredients and that tastes amazing.  Yup, you’ve just stumbled across another addicting Easy Crockpot Recipe!  Jackpot!!

Crockpot Hawaiian Chicken Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts fresh or thawed
  • 12 ounces Sweet Chili Sauce {Frank's RedHot or Panda Express brand}
  • 20 ounces Dole Pineapple Chunks
  • Optional Red Pepper Flakes

Instructions

  • Pour pineapple juice from pineapple chunks can into Crockpot, add chicken, and cook in crockpot on HIGH for 3 hours or LOW for 6 hours {covered}. Place pineapple chunks in the refrigerator.
  • After 3 hours on HIGH or 6 hours on LOW, drain juices from Crockpot.
  • In medium mixing bowl, mix together sweet chili sauce and pineapple chunks, then pour over chicken breasts in Crockpot. Cover, and cook on HIGH for 30 more minutes, or until done.
  • Serve with a side of rice, and dinner is done! Make sure to poke a pineapple onto your fork with a chunk of chicken for a burst of flavor with each bite! Yum!
  • Optional: If you want to kick up the spice even more, sprinkle with a dash of red pepper flakes before serving.

    Could you if you wanted to just throw it all in the slow cooker if you were not going to be around to do them separately? Do you think this would work as a freezer meal? Freezing before cooking?

    You really cook the chicken alone in the crockpot???

      Hi Alison ~ yes… the chicken will end up cooking in its own juices that it releases. After draining the juices and adding the sauce later, you’ll end up with a much thicker more delicious sauce. 🙂 Enjoy!!

    I doubled recipe 2 chili sauce,2 cans chuck pineapple, added 2 small cans chicken broth, and chopped 1/2 onion,simmered on stove WHILE I PREPARED 8 boneless,skinless chicken breast in glass dish (rubbed) in olive oil. Oven set @ 425 for 40 mins.
    Added chicken to chili sauce mix and cooked low to simmer til time to serve.

    I use the chili sauce, crushed pineapple and brown sugar on meatballs and/or cocktail sausage links for a glaze for party snacks and it is always a big hit. Can’t wait to try the Chilean
