  • Peach Pie Filling
  • Butter

You’ll also need a 5 – 6 quart Crock Pot to get the job done.

When it comes to butter, I like using salted butter, but unsalted will work just fine, too.

If you’d like to swap the peach pie filling for fresh peaches, here’s what you’ll need to do…

  • Peel, pit and slice 4 large peaches, and set aside.
  • Over medium-high heat, stir 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, and 3 tablespoons cornstarch until sugar dissolves and mixture becomes thick and bubbly.
  • Once mixture has thickened, remove it from the heat and continue to stir for 3 more minutes.
  • Then add in sliced peaches, stir gently until they’ve all been well coated, and use this mixture in place of the peach pie filling per the instructions below.

1. Spray your Crockpot with a non-stick cooking spray.

2. Then pour the peach pie filling into the Crockpot.

3. Combine the dry cake mix with melted butter to create crumble topping.

It’s SO easy!

Simply follow the instructions in the recipe below for the Slow Cooker Peach Dump Cake, but instead, bake in a 12″ cast iron skillet in the oven at 350 degrees for 50 minutes, or until top is crispy and edges are hot and bubbly.

Also, instead of spraying with non-stick cooking spray, when using a skillet I like to pour 3 tbsp. Melted Butter into bottom of 12″ Cast Iron Skillet & swirl around so bottom of skillet is evenly coated.

Ingredients 

  • 13.25 oz. Betty Crocker Yellow Cake Mix box
  • 42 oz. Peach Pie Filling, (use 2 cans 21 oz. each, OR use homemade Peach Pie filling)
  • 1/2 cup Butter, melted

Instructions 

  • Gather your ingredients.
    Yellow cake mix, butter, and peach filling.
  • Spray inside of Crockpot with non-stick cooking spray

  • Empty cans of Peach Pie Filling into bottom of crockpot, and spread out evently.

  • In medium mixing bowl, combine dry Cake Mix and melted Butter, and stir until crumbly. (break up any large chunks into small crumbles with spoon).

  • Cook on HIGH for 2 hours, or LOW for 4 hours. Serve with Ice Cream or Whip Cream. ENJOY!!

      Hi Cree ~ I haven’t tried doubling this one yet. You might be able to pull it off if you have a very large crockpot… or you could use 2 crockpots side by side. If you try doubling, let me know how it turns out!
