Tastebud Squealin’ Lemonade Recipe

When life friends give you lemons… {straight from the tree}… what do you do??

You make lemonade!  {thanks for the lemons, Nancy!}

My hubby’s Aunt Dee got me hooked on Fresh-Squeezed Lemonade… you’ve got to give this recipe a try!

Tastebud Squealin’ Lemonade Recipe:

What You’ll Do:

  • Roll lemons on cutting board to loosen juice.
  • Dissolve 1.5 cups sugar in 1 cup hot water
  • Add in 1 – 1.25 cups fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • Add in 4 cups cold water and stir.
  • Pour into pitcher, and let 2 thin slices of lemon float on top as garnish.
  • Each glass can be garnished with a thin slice of lemon, too!

This intensely tasty recipe will leave your taste buds screaming for more!  Enjoy!!

    Ooh! This sounds like the simple syrup recipe that was featured on the Food Network last month although that batch was for a much larger quantity than I needed, which I tried to make less & it didn’t taste as fabulous as it looked. This recipe sounds more manageable to enjoy at home. Thanks for sharing! : )

  2. Yum…that sounds so refreshing!!! I haven’t had fresh lemonade in sooooo long…
