Christie says
Wow this Strawberry Lemonade Punch sounds so refreshing, delicious and perfect for the warm weather! I could use a few glasses!
Heidi says
It really is such a refreshing treat!! 🙂
Susan says
Approx. 10 servings
9oz punch cup
If you are serving water, tea, coffee or other beverages less is needed.
A shower or party for 20-25 pp I’d recommend 2-3 batches.
I did cut the sugar to 1/4 c
It is simple and delicious! A huge hit at every party.
Thank you for the great recipe 🙂
Heidi says
So glad you liked it, Susan! 🙂
Sharon Gonzales says
Would this recipe work with fresh strawberies, since they are in season now?
Ericka says
Sharon, I’ve made this when fresh strawberries, but I do fought chop them up and freeze them (flat) in a Ziploc bag just so that when I puree it, it makes the drink cold when I serve it. I don’t add much sugar even when using frozen strawberries, so with them in season, I don’t add much, probably half or less than half the amount called for. I hope this helps!
Kay says
Though it maybe a bit late for some people, the recipe made about 96 oz. of punch. The pureed berries/ lemonade mixture came to about 32 oz,, then the 64 of Sprite made it to 96 oz. We did not add the sugar, we liked it as is, the Sprite added enough sweetness.
Everyone loved the punch, not overly sweet like many recipes, tart and refreshing!
Martha says
A batch consist of one bag strawberries, one can lemonade, sugar, and one 2 liter sprite, correct? I have enough to make 6 batches for 50 people is this enough?
Melody says
Can anyone tell me how many this will serve? I’m going to make this for a get together this weekend and we’ll have 7 adults and 2 kiddos. Not sure how many batches to make. It’ll be game night so they’ll be here a while. Thank you in advance!
Janice says
Do you use sweeten or unsweetened strawberries ??
Heidi says
Hi Janice ~ I use unsweetened strawberries. ENJOY!
emilly says
how many servings does the punch make just curious.
~thanks
Jenna says
I haven’t seen any answers about how many servings this makes? Anyone know?
Val Lengert says
I served 10 people, but the glasses were small so everyone had 2 glasses & gone, everyone enjoyed it.
I made it the night before & put it in the fridge & made strawberry ice cubes & put them in just before people arrived…so Melody at least 3 batches. I used a beverage dispenser.
Amanda says
I just made this for a birthday party. It was awesome. I sliced lemons very thin to float in the punch. Thanks for the recipe I will be using it over and over again.
Heidi says
Aww ~ you’re very welcome, Amanda! So glad you loved it!! 🙂
Briana Danyal says
How much does this recipe serve?
L says
I am curious of this as well. I need to serve it to approx 70 guests!
Debra Handy says
i wanted to make sure it would be able to stay cold, so the night before I blended the strawberries, lemonade, sugar and added some water. I put that into a bundt pan and froze it. The next day I made a second batch, put it into a punch bowl, added the frozen ring, then added the 7up. Delicious! Big huge hit!
Heidi says
What a great tip, Debra… thanks for sharing! 😉
cutter says
the strawberry lemonade punch was the best punch i ever had:):):)
Heidi says
Aww ~ so glad you liked it! It’s my favorite, too! 🙂
Shabana sheikh says
do you add water to the minute maid concentrate?
Thanks
Heidi says
Hi Shabana ~ you’ll just use the straight concentrate without water. Hope that helps! 🙂
Kimberly Romine says
The sprite takes place of the water.
Katie says
We used this at a get together, doubled the recipe, and it lasted about 10 minutes! Everyone loved it! Thank you for sharing! Definitely going to use again!
Heidi says
So glad everyone liked it, Katie! 😉
Ericka K says
Do you think this would work in a drink dispenser instead of a punch bowl? Looks like an easy but tasty recipe!
Judi says
Did you try it in a drink dispenser ? I see you didn’t get an answer from anyone & that’s how I’m serving it tonight so hopefully it works.
Wendy says
Did it work in the drink dispenser?
Lydia says
I made this for my little girls birthday party last night and used a drink dispenser. There were around 25 guests and we went through approx 3 batches. I strained the first two batches through a sieve first to remove any seeds that might clog the spigot, but I’m not sure I really needed to. The punch was an absolute hit!
Ericka says
Judi & Wendy: I forgot I had commented on this and never saw your questions! If you served it in a drink dispenser, I hope it worked well for you! If I remember correctly (this WAS almost 2 years ago!), I did serve it in a dispenser and it seemed to work just fine. I didn’t strain the seeds like Lydia commented after you, I actually didn’t think to do that at the time, BUT I did go through 2 batches and they drank it all up!
Lesa @ Edesia's Notebook says
I made this for a school function tonight and it was a huge hit. I doubled the recipe for my large punchbowl and it fit perfectly. (Then I doubled it again bc I knew I’d have to refill the punchbowl.) I didn’t add the sugar; totally doesn’t need it, imo. The only problem I had was that the Sprite foamed up so much when I poured it in. I had to scoop some off. But everybody raved about it and I was asked for the recipe. Thanks for sharing!
Carrie says
My Mom used the strawberry lemonade punch recipe but added some cooked rhubarb. The rhubarb adds an extra tang to the punch.
