How to Make Fun and Thrifty Love Notes

As you know… Valentine’s Day is almost here.  So yes, that means loooove is in the air!

It’s a great time to be leaving your sweetie love notes, but you can also have fun with these any time of year!

In addition to the hidden note in the laptop case, lunch, car, etc. ~ have fun leaving some love notes around the house, too!

Scrabble pieces make fun love notes.  Leave them at the breakfast table, by his computer, on his night stand ~ be creative… here are a few I came up with…

Don’t forget the mirror ~ this is a love note he’s sure not to miss!

Use the edge of a dry bar of soap to write him a special note.  I even made a fun note for my kids on their mirror, too!  {I later noticed they grabbed some soap, and wrote back to me!}

What are some of your favorite ways to write love notes… or places to leave them?

    TOO CUTE! You can also use dry-erase markers and eyeliner on your bathroom mirrors. They come right off. Put on a dark-color lipstick and leave a big KISS!

    Love the Scrabble idea…perfect!

    I sometimes like to make love note treasure hunts….and have been left a few of those too. It makes the whole day exciting if you say that they can’t find the next note until a certain time.

    I’ve used window markers to leave notes on my hubby’s car. He actually left it on there for over a week because he liked it so much. lol.

  4. The scrabble notes are brilliant! I’ve not seen that one.

    We write notes or draw pictures (he drew me a monkey months ago that is still there) to each other daily on the bathroom mirror with whiteboard markers.

    Kids bathtub crayons work wonderfully on bathroom (or any for that matter) mirrors! We use them at our house and write on the mirror at least 5 days a week. Love You, Feel Better, Have a Good Day at Work/School….these are all things we have done with the crayons on the mirror! Our kids get involved too, and write us notes/draw pictures for us. We all love it!!
    Also, leaving notes on the car steering wheel, or on the car seat is always a nice surprise to get first thing in the morning as you are leaving for the day! My hubby likes to surprise me with those often!

    I like to use the google eyes for crafts — I put them all over the front of a blank card (or you can draw them) and inside put ‘I only have eyes for you’. Love the scrabble tile idea.
