Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Cookies Gift in a Jar Recipe

They’ll LOVE this Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Cookies Gift in a Jar!  This easy homemade gift takes just a minute to put together, too!

Giving a homemade gift that everyone will love… is about to become very very easy!

Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Cookies Gift in a Jar

Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Cookies Betty Crocker

What You’ll Need To Make this Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Cookies Gift in a Jar:

  • 1 box Betty Crocker Chocolate Fudge Cake Mix {15.25 oz.}
  • 1 bag Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups Minis {8 oz.}
  • one quart size Wide Mouth Mason Jar
  • Scrapbook Paper
  • Raffia or Ribbon

Instructions:

  • Carefully empty the contents of the cake mix package into your quart-sized wide mouth Mason Jar, and gently pat down the top.
  • Pour in the Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups.
  • Put the silver jar topper on top, place a round scrap of scrapbook paper on top, then screw on the jar’s lid. {or you could use a doilie like I did here}
  • Tie a bow around the middle of the jar.
  • Optional: If you’ve got a Silhouette, you could even print the words ‘Cookie Mix’ like I did here.

Attach a Label with Baking Instructions:

  • Attach a label {or you can add the instructions to the top of the jar’s lid} with the following baking instructions.
  • Beat together 2 eggs and 1/2 cup Vegetable or Canola Oil in medium bowl.
  • Pour in entire contents of jar, and stir well with spoon.
  • Chill dough for 15 minutes in the refrigerator prior to baking.
  • Then, drop onto ungreased non-stick cookie sheet in rounded balls.
  • Bake for approx. 8 – 9 minutes {or until done} at 350 degrees.
