Heath Toffee Cookie Mix in a Jar!

Heath Toffee Cookie Mix in a Jar

Gifts in a Jar are always fun to make… and SO fun to receive!

Here’s a quick and easy Heath Toffee Cookie Mix in a Jar you can give as a gift, and it makes the most delicious Heath Toffee Cake Mix Cookies!  {yum!}

Heath Toffee Cake Mix Cookies

What You’ll Need To Make This Heath Toffee Cookie Mix in a Jar:

  • Quart Size Wide Mouth Mason Jar
  • 1 box Betty Crocker Butter Recipe Yellow Cake Mix {15.25 oz}
  • 1 package Heath English Toffee Bits, Milk Chocolate {8 oz.}
  • Twine, 6″ Paper Doily, etc. for embellishing the jar

Instructions:

  • Carefully empty the contents of the cake mix package into your quart-sized wide mouth Mason Jar, and gently pat down the top.
  • Pour in the Heath Toffee Bits.
  • Put the silver jar topper on top, place a 6 inch Paper Doily on top, then screw on the jar’s lid. {this will give it a cute little topper}
  • Wrap twine around the silver lid, and affix with a dab of hot glue in the back, or use glue dots. {see these Mason Jar Candles}
  • Print the words ‘Cookie Mix’ on a piece of black vinyl, then attach to the jar. {or use letter stickers}

Attach a Label with Baking Instructions:

  • Attach a label {or you can add the instructions to the top of the jar’s doilie lid} with the following baking instructions.
  • Beat together 2 eggs and 1/2 cup Vegetable or Canola Oil in medium bowl.
  • Pour in entire contents of jar, and stir well with spoon.
  • Drop onto ungreased non-stick cookie sheet in rounded balls.
  • Bake for approx. 8 – 9 minutes {or until done} at 350 degrees.
