What You’ll Need for your Front Door Christmas Stocking
Before you begin, you’ll want to first round up the following supplies…
- Stocking
- Faux Christmas Branches and Sprays
- Twine
- Safety Pin
- Over-the-Door Wreath Hanger
- Bubble Wrap or Newspapers for Filling
How to Make a Christmas Stocking Door Wreath
So are you ready to make your cute wreath?
You won’t believe how EASY this is to make!
Here’s what you’ll do…
First, fill your stocking with bubble wrap or crumped up newspapers to give it a fuller appearance.
Then, cut a piece of twine about 8 inches long. Make it into a loop, and then tie a knot so it makes a circle.
Affix the circular twine to the middle area of your stocking.
This is what you will use to hang it from the wreath hanger. By using this rather than the stocking hanger it comes with, you’ll keep it centered on your door, rather than lopsided from the weight. 🙂
Now, add your faux Christmas branches and sprays into your stocking, and arrange to your liking. Isn’t it looking so cute?
Hang the your over-the-door wreath hanger on your door, then hang your stocking wreath on the hanger, from the twine loop, and you’re done!
Wasn’t that so easy?!?
