This has given me a great idea to make some for myself and to give my family as gifts- especially old pictures!
Heidi says
That’s great to hear, Sarah! These really would make such sweet Christmas presents!
Kathryn Miller says
Hi I am interested in the DIY photo ornaments. Are the pictures printed out on regular photo paper or printer paper? A fellow teacher said that you have to use the printer paper but I thought it would look nicer with the photo paper.
Heidi says
Hi Kathryn ~ I have always just used photos printed on actual photo paper when making these ornaments. Hope that helps! 🙂
Rhonda Tenderholt says
I did this 2 years ago for some dear friends and they loved them. Recently helped my son do 2 for his best friends and 1 for himself. However, I couldn’t figure out how you did a 4×6 photo. When I did them, they were very tiny, maybe 2×4, not 4×6. They still turned out nice but I couldn’t get a 4×6 in a 3.25 bulb. Any ideas on why it didn’t work for me? Thanks for the ideas. I’m searching now for crafts for next years ladies luncheon and am going through your site for more cute and easy ideas.
Linda says
i like the photo ornament. I am thinking it would be a nice finish to fill the ornament with fake snow after the photo is in place.
Heidi says
That’s a great idea, Linda!
Kathy Tiney says
