Candy Cane Pipe Cleaner Ornament Supplies Needed:

  • 1 Red Pipe Cleaner
  • 1 White Pipe Cleaner
  • Sharp Scissors

How to Make Pipe Cleaner Candy Canes:

  1. Cut each pipe cleaner in half
  2. Take one red half and one white half and line them up next to each other
  3. Now from one end, begin twisting the two together
  4. Once you’ve finished twisting, carefully bend the top over into the shape of a candy cane, and you’re done. SO easy!
  5. Repeat the twisting and bending with the remaining two halves, and you’ll have 2 candy cane ornaments in just a few minutes.
  6. Hang on the Christmas tree, and ENJOY!

Pipe Cleaner Wreath Ornament Supplies Needed:

  • 1 Green Pipe Cleaner
  • 18 Green Plastic Beads
  • 7 Red Plastic Beads

How to Make a Pipe Cleaner Wreath:

  1. To make this wreath, you’ll simply string craft beads along the pipe cleaner starting with 1 red, 2 green, and repeating the pattern until all beads have been added to the pipe cleaner… making sure to leave room at each end.
  2. Secure by twisting and forming a cute little bow with the pipe cleaner ends.
  3. Trim the ends of the bow if necessary, and now you’ve got a sweet and simple Homemade Pipe Cleaner Wreath Ornament!

Popsicle Stick Reindeer Christmas Ornament

Popsicle sticks aren’t just for summertime treats… Rudolph loves them, too!

Using 3 brown popsicle sticks (they can be colored brown with markers, too), arrange them like shown below, and use Elmer’s or Hot Glue to secure.

Once dry, glue on 2 googly eyes, a red puffy nose, and use 2 black pipe cleaners to wrap around the top for fun swirly antlers!

Pipe Cleaner Snowman Ornaments

Snowman Pipe Cleaner Ornament Supplies Needed:

  • 3 White Pipe Cleaners
  • 1 Green Pipe Cleaner
  • 1 Black Pipe Cleaner
  • 1 Red Pipe Cleaner
  • Optional: 1 Silver Pipe Cleaner
  • Small Round Wooden Balls (for the head)
  • Black Sharpie Marker
  • Red Sharpie Marker
  • Strong Glue or Hot Glue G*n

How to Make a Pipe Cleaner Snowman Ornament:

  1. Criss-cross 2 white pipe cleaners and twist in the middle for the body
  2. With the remaining length at the top, make the arms with little hands folded at the ends.
  3. With the remaining length at the bottom, create the legs with bends at the knee, and small bends at the feet.
  4. If you would like to add ‘ice skates’ to your snowman, cut small pieces off of a silver pipe cleaner, and glue to the bottom of the feet.
  5. At the top of the body, glue on the small wooden head.
  6. Create a hat using a small piece of twisted black pipe cleaner and glue on to the wooden head
  7. Twist on the scarf using a small piece of green pipe cleaner
  8. Cut a small piece of white pipe cleaner and red pipe cleaner in the same size, twist into one piece, and bend over at the top to create a mini candy cane. Then place the candy cane in the snowman’s hand by twisting the hand around to secure in place.
  9. Use sharpie permanent markers to add eyes and a mouth, and you’re done! Easy-peasy!

    Puzzle Piece Picture Frame Ornaments

    Puzzle Piece Christmas ornaments are so easy to make, and look great on the tree!

    1. Lay several small puzzle pieces out on painter’s plastic or newspaper outside, and spray paint gold (or other color of choice).
    2. Cut a circle of red cardstock, and once puzzle pieces are completely dry, begin gluing pieces around the outside of the circle.
    3. Attach a photo to the center of the cardstock, hot glue a little red bow to the puzzle pieces near the top, and attach string using hot glue as a hanger.

    How easy is that? 😉

    Glitter Pine Cone Ornaments

    So to make these you’ll start by collecting some pine cones from your yard, or your next walk out in the woods.

    Then, bake pine cones on a foil-lined cookie sheet to kill any little critters or buggies. Paint the edges with some pretty glittery paint.

    Glue a string on for hanging, and you’ve got a beautiful DIY Pine Cone Ornament!

    Wooden Christmas Photo Ornaments

    Capture your favorite memories, and make some cute gifts with these Easy Christmas Photo Ornaments!

    Supplies Needed for Easy Christmas Photo Ornaments:

  • Wooden Cutout Shape with small hole (I found loads to choose from for 29c each at Michaels!)
  • Photo
  • Mod Podge
  • Foam Brush
  • Ribbon

Supplies to make wooden photo ornaments.

Instructions for Easy Christmas Photo Ornaments:

Trim your photo to fit the shape of your wooden ornament.

Line up the photo with the hole in the ornament, then punch a whole with a small hole puncher.

Brush a thin layer of Mod Podge on the top of the wooden ornament, then carefully lay photo on top to set.

Once Mod Podge has dried (approx. 20 minutes), carefully brush a second layer of Mod Podge over the top of the photo. Brush carefully from left to right so all lines go in the same direction.

Allow Mod Podge to dry completely, and you’ve got yourself a super-cute handmade Christmas Ornament!
