Chicken Gravy Recipe

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons Salted Butter
- 1/4 cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 3/4 cups Chicken Broth (or one 14.5 oz can)
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 1 tablespoon Chicken Bouillon, (Chicken Base can be substituted)
- 1/4 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1/8 teaspoon Black Pepper
Instructions
- Gather your ingredients.

- Add butter to a 10 – 12″ skillet, and melt over medium-high heat.
- Then add flour to skillet, stirring constantly until combined with the butter. Immediately after that, begin to whisk in the chicken broth, about 1/4 cup at a time…. whisking continually.
- After all chicken broth has been added, continue whisking as you add in the Milk, Chicken Bouillon, Onion Powder, and Black Pepper.
- Whisk for a few more minutes as the gravy thickens, then serve and ENJOY!

Notes
- This gravy is best served immediately, but leftovers can also be saved and reheated for later. Store in refrigerator and use within 2 days, or freeze and use within 1 week.
- When it comes time to reheat, simply warm up in a small pot on the stove, and whisk in some additional milk to smooth out any lumps.

With a gravy this easy, there is no reason to be buying the stuff in a can. Homemade is always better. We actually may made a whole chicken instead of turkey this year as it may just be a few of us. We will use the juices from the chicken and your recipe. Stay well and take care
