DIY Toilet Bowl Cleaner – Supplies Needed
So are you ready to make some toilet bowl cleaner? Here’s what you’ll need…
- 1 1/2 cups Baking Soda
- 50 drops of Orange or Lemon Essential Oil
- 16 oz. Regular Mouth Mason Jar
- Optional: Old Lid from Parmesan Cheese Shaker

How Do You Make A Homemade Toilet Bowl Cleaner?
You won’t believe how quick and easy this is to make!
Here’s what you’ll do…
Add your Baking Soda to a medium mixing bowl.
Then add Essential Oil drops on top of baking soda.
Stir with a spoon until well combined.
Then transfer the mixture to a mason jar for later.
Pro Tip: If you have an old lid from a parmesan cheese shaker, you can affix the lid so you have an easy flip up sprinkle top! It works like a charm.

How to Use DIY Toilet Bowl Cleaner
When it’s time to clean your toilet, sprinkle 1/4 cup of the mixture inside your toilet bowl… up around the sides and where the ‘ring’ likes to form.
