Joan says
Iâve made this recipe before but this time I used mini chocolate chips because I did not have any white chocolate chips on hand. The chocolate compliments the craisins.
Heidi says
That’s so great to know, Joan… it sounds like a delicious twist!
Jamie says
Oh,my. I made these at Christmastime. I used Duncan Hines Supreme orange cake mix instead of white. They were pretty and delicious. I brought a plate to work and I had a couple of clients call me later to get the recipe. I think they would also be good with some pecans Saturday and if you like nuts. Iâm trying to figure out if thereâs someway to make these without using eggs for someone I know who does not eat eggs. I donât know if it would be as good.
Heidi says
That sounds delicious, Jamie… I bet the orange added such a fun flavor! And yes… mixing in some chopped pecans is delicious, too – I’ve tried that and loved it! I’ve never tried making them without eggs, but if you do find a substitute, let me know how they turn out!
Katie says
Hi! I love this recipe but I want to try adding orange to it. I’m just not sure if I should use extract or zest or both… do you know? Thanks!
Heidi says
Hi Katie ~ I honestly haven’t tried adding either to this particular recipe, but I’m sure either would work great. If you give it a try, let me know how it turns out! đ
Christie says
Oh my goodness I love cranberry and white chocolate! They are a total match made in heaven! Especially in cookie form!
Heidi says
I completely agree, Christie… those flavors really are the perfect match, and the end result is definitely heavenly! đ
Rebecca Dillon says
What a great last minute gift idea! So pinning this to my DIY food gifts board for the holidays.
Heidi says
Aww… thanks, Rebecca! This mix really does make a fun little gift in a jar! đ
Olga says
Can you use duncan Hines cake mix? Instead of bebetty crocker?
Heidi says
Hi Olga… yes, that should work just fine. đ
cookie says
Hi,
It looks amazing.
I just printed your recipe.
Must try.
Heidi says
Aww ~ thank you… hope you love it! The combination of cranberries with white chocolate is pretty irresistible! đ
Kari says
I’m don’t bake very often, so please forgive the ignorance of my question. I know the recipe calls for white chocolate chips, but would Hershey’s Hugs all chopped up work? I know those are white chocolate (as opposed to white baking chips) and are safe for my son, who is anaphylactic to peanuts and tree nuts.
Heidi says
Hi Kari ~ I honestly haven’t tried baking with the Hugs, but if you do, let me know how they turn out!
Irene says
I love this page Thank you.. I will surely share with my friends !
Alicia says
Hi! How many does this yield?!
Heidi says
Hi Alicia ~ approx. 2 – 3 dozen, just depending on size. Enjoy!
Debbie says
These are the best and easiest cookies to make and eat!!! Love them!!
Heidi says
Aww ~ thanks, Debbie! So glad to hear you love them! Aren’t they SO easy? đ
Eva says
How big should the dough balls be?
Heidi says
Hi Eva ~ approx. 1.5″ works great.
Cindy says
Used your idea for cookies but needed a gluten free cookies. Used a G/F confetti cake mix and substituted applesauce for the oil. They were great!
Heidi says
Yay ~ I’m so glad you were able to make a delicious gluten free version of this! Thanks for sharing your tips, Cindy! đ
Susan says
I would like to make this but my question is the confetti mix have other candies in it?
Shivaughni says
I love you!!! I have a work cookie swap tomorrow and I was trying to find something simple to make. I’m hoping these will keep for a day.
Heidi says
Aww ~ thank you… these are so simple and crazy delicious. ENJOY!! đ
