  1. Christie says:

MMMM this is so refreshing and I bet it’s super tasty with the coca cola as the slushie base! What a treat!

    1. Heidi says:

Thanks, Christie… it really is such a refreshing treat on a hot day!

  2. Ellie says:

This was such a good recipe! It was the actual consistency of a slushie from a gas station or something. I used Dr Pepper instead but I like that you can use any drink! Thank you!

    1. Heidi says:

So glad you loved it, Ellie! And I agree… it tastes great with Dr Pepper, too! 🙂

  3. Vicki says:

I get a bottle of coke and open it to get rid of extra gas. Then i put it in freezer and every hour shake the bottle until its frozen slush

    1. Heidi says:

What a fun idea… thanks for sharing!

  4. Stella Frine says:

It looks Very Fun and Very Yummy!!!
I bet the Coca Cola one could be spiked with some Rum (at Parties…)

When I grew up, we used to add about a 1/4 cup of Coca- Cola to our Vanilla or Chocolate scoop of Ice Creams…. They were Fun and Yummy!!

    1. Heidi says:

That sounds like such a fun addition to your ice cream!

  5. Terri says:

For the Coke slushies, could you put the first 12 ounces of Coke in ice cube trays to freeze instead of a shallow dish?

    1. Terri says:

Also, what could you add to make these cherry coke slushies? Thanks.

      1. Heidi says:

To make a Cherry Coke Slushie, simply swap out the 2 cans of Coke for 2 cans of Cherry Coke, then follow the same instructions for freezing/blending. Enjoy! 🙂

    2. Heidi says:

Hi Terri ~ yes… ice cube trays would work great!

    3. Tristan says:

So you can do it with any drink? But you just change the 2 12 Oz cups with the drink you want?
