As you’re stirring your peanut butter cookie dough, you’ll notice how thick and dense it is.
That’s why after you form the dough into balls, you’ll want to flatten out each cookie so they cook evenly.
Using a fork is a simple way to flatten a cookie, and this method creates such a fun pattern on top!

Here’s what you’ll do…

YOu had me at easy! These sound so good and I love cookies with PB in them. I also appreciate the minimal ingredients!
Thanks, Christie… so glad you like the recipe! These really are SO easy to make… I just made more last night, and they disappeared fast! 🙂
Have made these for years minus the vanilla. Also, stir and drop by rounded teaspoon onto parchment paper. Criss-cross with fork for 8-10 minutes. Allow them to cool for 2 minutes on the cookie sheet prior to removing.
Yummy, I’m sure vanilla is yummy in them also.
They really are SO delicious, aren’t they?
I can’t use refined sugar. Any ideas what to use as a substitution?
Honey, apple puree or rice syrup, maple??
Delicious. Made these last night and added chocolate chips. Thank you.
You’re very welcome, Talitha! That sounds like a delicious addition! 🙂
So, so easy. And yummy. A recipe you can reeber by heart. It feels like I’m rule breaking using a baking mix! No need to tell a white lie when people ask if they are homemade. Hehe
So glad you loved them, Andrea! Aren’t the crazy easy and SO delicious?? It will be our little secret. 😉
we made the peanut butter mix lol…….. Chilled it and now baking! Felt like it was too easy and missing something! So we will see how they taste! And I’m not the baker so if these come out edible and delicious then anyone should be able to make them. We even put a few chocolate chips on top of a few….Thanks! Anxiously waiting..
Another fun idea is to put chocolate chips on top as soon as they come out of the oven. I got that idea from our local bakery. They look so cute that way and taste AMAZING! 🙂
I just baked these cookies. Didn’t think it was going to come out right. Let me just say they were perfect and delicious! Also, I didn’t refrigerate the dough. Thank you for sharing this amazing recipe!
You’re very welcome, Amber… so glad you liked them! 😉
haha! I was thinking the same thing…no flour?!? Ir does sound crazy, but it’s saturday and very cold outside, what else to do but give it a try.
It really is crazy, but for some reason it just works! 🙂
Ok, call me dumb, but am I missing something? Where’s the flour! Wouldn’t it just melt? Yes, I’m known as an airhead! 😉 It just seems TOO easy. Thanks!
Haha… I know it sounds crazy, Christina, but no flour is needed. They’re SO easy and delicious! 🙂

Cookie scoops really do make everything so much easier!
I am thinking about making friends and family who live far & wide cookies this year and putting them in gorgeous tins and giving them away this holiday season.
Will these do well traveling in a tin in the mail? Sooo simple even I can do it. And they are homemade…I LOVE that. Thank you.
I honestly haven’t tried shipping these, but if you do… let me know how it goes!
