  • White Bread
  • Eggs
  • Pork Sausage
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Milk – 2% or Whole Milk will give you the best results, but I’ve also made this with skim milk and it was perfectly delicious!
  • Half and Half
  • Ground Mustard
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • Nutmeg
  • Salt & Pepper

You’ll also need a 9×13 baking dish to get the job done.

This easy Sausage Breakfast Casserole will have the whole family jumping out of bed in the morning! Ingredients 

  • 1 pound Jimmy Dean Pork Sausage
  • 6 eggs, beaten
  • 6 slices White Bread
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 1/4 cups Milk
  • 3/4 cup Half & Half
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon Nutmeg

Instructions 

  • Spray 9×13 baking dish with Nonstick Cooking Spray.
  • Trim crusts from bread slices, and place in greased baking dish.
  • Brown sausage and drain.
  • Mix browned sausage and all other remaining ingredients together and pour over bread slices.
  • Cover casserole dish with aluminum foil and place in refrigerator overnight.
  • In the morning, bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 – 55 minutes, or until done. Serve warm and ENJOY!!
