How to Make Easter Cookie Mix in a Jar
You can even make up some extra cookie mix to give as sweet little Gifts in a Jar.
Gifts with the sweet added touch of Easter M&M’s are always a safe bet! Just follow these simple step-by-step instructions…
Carefully empty entire contents of cake mix package into a Quart sized Wide Mouth Mason Jar.
Gently pack down.
Sort M&M’s by color, then add to jar… one color at a time.
Using your jar’s lid topper, trace a circle on your scrapbook paper, then cut out.
Put the silver jar topper on top, place your circle cut from scrapbook paper on top, then screw on the jar’s lid.
Wrap some twine around the silver lid, and affix with glue dots.
Then wrap a pretty Easter ribbon around the center of the jar, and tie in a bow, or affix with glue dots.
Optional: Use a mini paper clip to attach a sweet little Easter saying tag.
These make wonderful budget friendly homemade gifts to give your friends, family, foodies, coworkers, or neighbors!
Make some for now, or plan ahead and make some up for later. This cookie mix can be made up to 4 weeks ahead of time, and stored in a pantry or cool, dark cupboard.
