Vanilla Bath Salts are so simple to make, and perfect for a gift to give, or your next foot soak or relaxing soak in the tub!  Don’t forget the candles!! 😉

DIY Vanilla Bath Salt Recipe

What Your Frugal Friends Are Saying About These Vanilla Bath Salts:

Kathrine writes: “It went very well and I even mixed it up and used different fragrances for some.”

Vanilla Bath Salts Supplies Needed:

  • 1 Cup Epsom Salt
  • 1 tbsp. Baking Soda
  • 3 drops Vanilla Essential Oil ~ or add a few extra drops for a stronger scent.
  • Mason Jar {4 oz.}, Mason Jar {8 oz.}, or other small jar.
  • Optional: 1 – 2 drops of  Food Coloring {to slightly tint the bath salts}
  • Ribbon

Vanilla Essential Oil

How to Make Vanilla Bath Salts:

  • Mix together Epsom Salt, Baking Soda, Essential Oil Drops, and optional Food Coloring.  Stir well.
  • Transfer to jar, and tie a bow with a pretty ribbon or some twine.
  • This is so quick to put together, and makes a fabulous homemade gift!
  • If pampering yourself… add approx. 1/2 cup of bath salts to your bath.  Relax and ENJOY!!
  • Store in a dry, cool place for up to 3 months.
