Just wondering if these can be frozen once they’re baked?
Absolutely… these cookies freeze beautifully!
I’ve made this recipe before but this time I used mini chocolate chips because I did not have any white chocolate chips on hand. The chocolate compliments the craisins.
That’s so great to know, Joan… it sounds like a delicious twist!
Oh,my. I made these at Christmastime. I used Duncan Hines Supreme orange cake mix instead of white. They were pretty and delicious. I brought a plate to work and I had a couple of clients call me later to get the recipe. I think they would also be good with some pecans Saturday and if you like nuts. I’m trying to figure out if there’s someway to make these without using eggs for someone I know who does not eat eggs. I don’t know if it would be as good.
That sounds delicious, Jamie… I bet the orange added such a fun flavor! And yes… mixing in some chopped pecans is delicious, too – I’ve tried that and loved it! I’ve never tried making them without eggs, but if you do find a substitute, let me know how they turn out!
Hi! I love this recipe but I want to try adding orange to it. I’m just not sure if I should use extract or zest or both… do you know? Thanks!
Hi Katie ~ I honestly haven’t tried adding either to this particular recipe, but I’m sure either would work great. If you give it a try, let me know how it turns out! 🙂
Oh my goodness I love cranberry and white chocolate! They are a total match made in heaven! Especially in cookie form!
I completely agree, Christie… those flavors really are the perfect match, and the end result is definitely heavenly! 🙂
