How Do You Keep Powdered Sugar From Melting On Donuts?

So what is the white powder on donuts and how do you keep it from melting or disappearing?

It’s powdered sugar and the trick for making sure the powdered sugar doesn’t melt is to do this…

1. Bake these powdered sugar donuts, instead of frying them.

2. Then, once you have removed the donuts from the oven, wait 5 minutes to make sure the donuts have cooled.

3. Once the donuts have cooled, roll the donuts in fresh powdered sugar.

This process will ensure that your donuts maintain a nice, consistent powdered sugar coating that doesn’t disappear!!
