It all starts with the peanut for this peanut butter recipe…

  • Roasted Unsalted Peanuts – choose Organic if making Homemade Organic Peanut Butter

How to Make Homemade Peanut Butter

Making your own peanut butter at home is so much easier than you think!

Here’s how to do peanut butter the easy way…

1. Add the roasted, unsalted peanuts and salt to your food processor and cover with lid.

2. Process as directed, then remove the top opening and drizzle in honey as the peanut butter finishes processing.

3. Continue processing until done, then the remove lid and scrape down the sides.

4. Stir with a spoon, then pour the contents into mason jars for storage.

How Long Does Homemade Peanut Butter Last?

After you have transferred your peanut butter from the food processor to mason jar, cover with lids.

Your peanut butter can then be stored in your refrigerator for up to 1 month.

How Many Cups of Peanut Butter in a Jar?

This recipe yields 2 cups of peanut butter.

You can either add it to a large mason jar with a lid, or to a few smaller mason jars with lids.

Homemade Peanut Butter Recipe

Today we're going to transform your peanuts into a creamy, dreamy spread with this easy Homemade Peanut Butter Recipe! Just 3 ingredients and a quick spin in your food processor... and you're done!
Servings: 2 cups

Prep Time: 1 minute
Cook Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients 

  • 16 oz. Shelled Dry Roasted Peanuts, (no salt added variety)
  • 1 tbsp. Honey
  • 1/4 tsp. Sea Salt

Instructions 

  • Gather your ingredients.
    Containers of peanuts, honey, and salt.
  • Pour peanuts into food processor, sprinkle with salt, attach lid, and process on full-speed for 4 minutes.

  • After 4 minutes, remove the opening on top, continue processing for 1 minute on full speed while slowly drizzling in honey from the top.

  • Remove lid, scrape down sides, stir with a spoon, and transfer to a 16 oz. mason jar.

  • When ready to use, remove from refrigerator, allow to warm up a bit, stir, and ENJOY!

  • Now you can smother on toast, make a PB & J sandwich, dip apple slices, add some to your oatmeal, or bake up some peanut butter cookies with your delicious homemade peanut butter!

  • After use, place jar with remaining peanut butter back in the refrigerator until you're ready to use it again.
  • Storage Tip: Homemade peanut butter can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
