Out of milk?

Don’t worry… it’s actually really EASY to make your own dairy-free milk at home! Not only is this Vanilla Oat Milk Recipe so fast and frugal to make, it’s absolutely delicious!

So no more wondering how to make oat milk… you’re about to become a pro!

Whether you’re lactose-intolerant (like me), want a vegan oat milk, or just want a thrifty alternative to the dairy-free milks at the store… this is IT!

Plus, it only takes about 5 minutes to make!

Purchasing oat milk 1/2 gallons can run around $5 or more at the stores near me. Ouch!

I love oat milk, but not for that price.

So I was determined to learn how to make it myself, and guess what… if you buy your ingredients in bulk you’ll be making it for around 50c – 75c per half gallon!

Now that’s some serious savings!

Plus… you’ll just need 4 ingredients and some water! Talk about simple!

So let’s do this!

Here’s how to make vanilla oat milk at home…

Has anyone tried freezing and thawing this recipe? I know a lot of store versions of dairy free milks can’t be frozen and then used properly. Either way, I’ll have to give this recipe a try when I get some oats next!

Hello, just made this oat milk, omg simply amazing. Any suggestions on using the left over oats after you stain them? I don’t like to waste them.
      Thank you for the recipe

Hi Melissa ~ I’m so glad you loved the oat milk! 🙂 Hmm… for the leftover oat pulp you could try mixing it into a smoothie, using it as a face mask, or even swapping some out for 1 banana when baking banana bread. Hope that helps!
